Wadswick Green celebrated its next phase of residences with a ground-breaking ceremony on Wednesday, 18th July. The modern lifestyle village for the over-60s in Corsham, Wiltshire revealed its plans for Ash Lane to existing residents, who were excited about the overall vision for the village. Joining the ground-breaking ceremony was Vice-Chair of the Corsham Town Council, Ruth Hopkinson.
Due for completion in winter 2019, the new phase will see the addition of 45 modern one, two and three-bedroom apartments. New buyers can look forward to joining Wadswick Green’s friendly community of currently over 100 residents. The village features a number of state-of-the-art amenities such as a gym, swimming pool including Jacuzzi, sauna, steam rooms and even a spa and hair salon. In addition, Wadswick Green is home to The Greenhouse restaurant, which has proven popular with residents and the Wiltshire community alike.
Lyth Watson, Interim CEO of Rangeford Holdings, the development company behind Wadswick Green, comments: “The regional demand for 60+ accommodation continues to grow. It’s important to us to offer interested buyers a property that supports independent living and allows them to make the most of their newly found freedom.”
Similar to the Courtyard Apartments already completed, the homes at Ash Lane will feature spacious kitchens with engineered, high-quality hardwood flooring and the latest Neff appliances. The living rooms offer a choice of wooden floors and boast large picture windows that lead onto walk-on balconies with stunning woodland or valley views.
The modern bathrooms are kitted out with convenient walk-in-showers and luxury taps and fittings. Thorough insulation ensures peace and quiet and supports the energy efficient underfloor heating, whilst wide entrances and lifts, as well as high-efficiency double-glazed windows, provide a bright and friendly feel.
Buyers who want to move to Wadswick Green sooner rather than later can currently choose from a number of already completed one-bed residences in the Pavilion, also known as the hub of the village. Situated above Wadswick Green’s spa, the Pavilion Residences offer the most convenient access to all on-site amenities and start from £265,000. Alternatively, Wadswick Green offers a number of soon-to-be-launched one, two and three-bedroom apartments called Almond Close. Prices to be released shortly.
Wadswick Green’s first phase, which was completed in spring 2015, attracted a high volume of interest from prospective buyers, and at the end of last year saw its 100th resident move in. Set over 25 acres in the rolling Wiltshire countryside, on the site of the former HMS Royal Arthur Naval College that Prince Philip attended, Wadswick Green is a new village with ancient roots.
To experience the feel and quality of Wadswick Green’s apartments first-hand, interested buyers are encouraged to visit the recently opened marketing suite and showroom, which is located opposite The Greenhouse Restaurant.
