A roundup of what the village team have been organising to keep the residents engaged during May.
As Lockdown remained in place throughout May, the sun maintained its shine and kept smiles on everyone’s faces.
The Wadswick Green residents have been appreciative of the alternative services on offer which increased during the month, including a surprise afternoon tea delivered to the door to celebrate VE Day.
The beautiful rustic benches along our resident’s private driveway has been well used during the daily exercise walks and been a staging post for some sketching in the sunshine.
VE Day came and the village was decorated in red, white and blue and cream teas were enjoyed by all.

Residents flocked to the village shop to buy from the village plant sale - soon all the balconies of Wadswick Green will be blooming too!
As Lockdown relaxed allowing unlimited exercise, the Village opened our Croquet and Bowls Green and added a Badminton Court too!

The first Bee colony moved-in to our hive. They are enjoying their new home and we can’t wait to get the first batch of honey.
Our May ‘View from a Balcony’ Photography Completion once again received fantastic entries. The theme this month was Sunsets. The top three winners were as follows:
Mr Whippie was invited to make his way around the village and #99s were enjoyed all round – we’re going to do it again soon!
We expect more exciting activities to happen throughout June and will be back again in early July to tell you all about them.
Rangeford Villages, the award-winning later living property specialist, hosted a tree-planting ceremony on 24th September 2020 to launch its newest development, Siddington Park, on the outskirts of Cirencester, capital of the Cotswolds. The village will offer 123 apartments exclusively for the over 60’s, with completion scheduled in summer/autumn 2022.
