The positive atmosphere at Wadswick Green continues to grow and there is a definite sense of excitement in the air. The vaccine roll out has gone really well locally with all the residents plus many colleagues receiving their jabs safely and successfully.
As the roadmap for coming out of national lockdown has now been communicated, Rangeford Villages have created our very own equivalent timetable. This starts on the 12th April with the reopening of the Greenhouse restaurant with table service on the terrace or in the newly installed marquee, plus the gym and the pool will reopen as well as Figo’s Hair Salon (booking absolutely essential), beauty treatments plus the guest apartment will reopen. When the weather permits we will also start to organise the very popular outdoor exercise classes. All of this represents a great step forward in bringing the community back together enjoying some of the many services on offer at Wadswick Green.
During this transition everyone at Wadswick Green remains absolutely committed to keeping colleagues, residents and visitors safe, whilst promoting an independent and fulfilling lifestyle. And the plans for an actioned packed summer at Wadswick Green are well underway with a wide array of events and activities that will appeal to all.
We have welcomed many new residents who have moved in over the last few months so it will great for them to start to experience village life more and more as we move towards the great Wadswick Green summer of 2021.
Our sales team are still handling increased levels of interest and are facilitating more and more village visits and apartment viewings. Guided virtual tours are available for those that want to discover what is on offer at Wadswick Green and Mickle Hill before making a visit, but now is a great time to come and meet the team.
We look forward to welcoming you soon and getting all our lives back on track in 2021!
"I founded the Musical Memories group about four years ago now. I’d been at Wadswick Green for a few months, and I thought I would set a group up and see what the interest would be."
"Music is really connected to people’s memories, and I find for over 60s it’s particularly true with music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. I noticed how easily people remembered music and lyrics, so I thought that maybe playing music and discussing it could be a good idea."

"We first made contact with the Yvette Jones [Mickle Hill sales advisor] last September when we visited Mickle Hill to report back to my mother-in-law who lived in Somerset at the time. Yvette has been magnificent throughout our engagement leading to the decision to purchase the Apartment in January and through to completion and moving in last week."
"Qigong provides me with a good opportunity to meet other residents and get to know them, it's very sociable. There are about 15-20 people in each class and although we all take it seriously, we do have fun and laughter.
"It has become an important part of my life as it helps to keep me mentally and physically fit and had I not moved here I would never have taken it up."
