Mickle Hill is One!

Mickle Hill staff and residents were joined by our CEO Howard Nankivell, CFO Jonathan Harper and Head of Operations David Kanarens in celebration of Mickle Hill’s one-year anniversary as part of the Rangeford Villages family. The event was a wonderful opportunity for the team and residents to join together to toast a glass to the memories of Mickle Hill’s first year and to the continued success of our northern-most Village. Our delicious custom-made Rangeford Villages celebration cake went down a treat too!

Howard Nankivell, Chief Executive said; “It was great to be at Mickle Hill to celebrate our 1st anniversary at this fantastic, engaged and vibrant community. I look forward to attending many more events at Mickle Hill in the near future.”

Rangeford Villages’ first year at Mickle Hill has been full of excitement and memorable moments. The long, hot Summer meant our Afternoon Tea events within the splendour of Mickle Hill’s grounds were brilliantly attended by residents, family, friends and future residents. In making the most of the Rangeford lifestyle, Mickle Hill’s resident-led choir (the Mickleodeons) have gone from strength to strength this year, giving many tuneful performances and we look forward to their Christmas concert.

The festive period has also seen various Mickle Hill fundraising drives and events raise a whopping £1072 in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice, our chosen local charity. St Catherine’s provide support for patients and families in Yorkshire experiencing life-shortening conditions such as cancer, MS and heart failure. Well done and thank you to all who have supported this worthy cause.

We have welcomed many new residents and reservists and, with our new 4 Year Energy Bills Promise, we look forward to saying hello to many more in the new year.
