Rangeford Villages has announced that its Chair Roger Davies will stand down at the end of this month.

Roger, appointed as Chair in 2018, has overseen Rangeford’s expansion over the past six years. He has seen to company go from one to five high-calibre integrated retirement communities and with an impressive list of developments in the future pipeline.

During his time as Chair, Roger has overseen a significant development programme, which has delivered hundreds of quality retirement homes across the UK, as well as providing a clear focus on improving customer service delivery and consistency.

Speaking about his decision to stand down, Roger said: “It has been a pleasure to work with the Rangeford Executive team and colleagues in Octopus.

“We have set Rangeford on a course for success: attracting and retaining talented colleagues in Villages and corporate roles, enabling us to fulfil our aim of delivering quality services which older people value and appreciate.”

Howard Nankivell, CEO of Rangeford Villages adds: “Roger’s experience and insights of the retirement sector have been instrumental in shaping the growth and success of Rangeford and I have really enjoyed working with him over the last six years.

“We are now very well positioned for the next phase of our business plan and Roger has played a major part in making this possible.”

Existing Rangeford Board member Ed Fellows will be taking over as the new Chair. In addition, Marcus Adam of Octopus Real Estate will join the Rangeford Board.
