Siddington Park: Sponsoring Summer in Cirencester

It has been an action-packed summer for Siddington Park so far. Following the successful spring launch of the second phase of stunning homes in our Cirencester-based retirement village, the Grange apartments, our development is proving extremely popular with the over 60s.

Over the past month of July, we have been lucky enough to sponsor Cirencester’s famous annual Cotswold Show, the ‘Ethical Business Award’ at the Cirencester Business Awards and began our partnership with local entertainment venue the Barn Theatre. What a start to the season! Read on for a rundown of the exciting events…

It was a real pleasure for Siddington Park to sponsor this year’s Cotswold Show, held in the breath-taking 3000-acre Cirencester Park on Saturday 1^st and Sunday 2^nd July. The yearly event showcases the best and brightest of our wonderful region, with everything from animal displays, to motorbike arena shows, to the festival of food, to local artisanal trade stands, plus much more. With the show now in its 40^th year, Siddington Park’s sponsorship felt particularly special.

The members of our staff who manned the Rangeford stall across the weekend were thrilled to meet so many of our current and future residents as they enjoyed the festivities. Our branded iced biscuits went down a storm with the public who enjoyed the treats as they chatted to our team about all things Rangeford. It was also a great day for Siddington Park residents Phil and Sue who were lucky enough to win on of our coveted Fortnum & Mason hamper prizes at the Cotswold Show, congratulations!

The Barn Theatre has been enriching the lives of the Cirencester community since 2018 and has become one of the town’s favourite spots for an evening of entertainment. Siddington Park was delighted to be able to sponsor the theatre’s latest production of West End hit ‘Once: the musical’ and was further thrilled to be invited to attend one of the first performances. We were blown away by the talent on display from both the cast and creative teams who truly captivated the audience of the state-of-the-art 200 seat theatre. The Barn Theatre also boasts the superb ‘Théatro’ bar and restaurant, which offers a delicious pre-show dining menu and is the perfect setting for a post-show drink - which we greatly appreciated! If you are looking for a night of musical fun and great atmosphere in Cirencester this summer, we cannot recommend the Barn Theatre enough!

Creating an environment for members of the community to relax and enjoy themselves in style is an ethos that Rangeford Villages shares and as such we are proud to be continuing our partnership with the Barn Theatre by sponsoring their next show ‘I’m Sorry Prime Minister’ performing from 22^nd September – 4^th November, with hopes of a West End transfer. The Cirencester Chamber of Commerce annual Cirencester Business Awards was a night to remember. Siddington Park Village Manager, Will, along with Sales Advisor, David, were amongst the hundreds of representatives from Cirencester’s trailblazing businesses who gathered together in the stunning grounds of Ingleside House on Friday 14^th July to celebrate successes from the past year.

Siddington Park even had the pleasure of sponsoring an award on the program: The Ethical Business Award, which recognises an organisation which has made a particularly positive impact on sustainability within the local community. As Rangeford Villages is steadfastly committed to ensuring we do our part to operate in an environmentally friendly way to safeguard our planet for the future, we were delighted to sponsor and present this important award. The worthy winner, Cotswold Lakes Brew Co., have made outstanding contributions to social and ethical causes whilst also maintaining ethical practice across their operations. Well done, a greatly deserved win!

In between all the external excitement, Siddington Park itself has been going from strength to strength. With our first phase of apartments now over 80% sold out and the Grange apartment phase following swiftly behind, it has been a great pleasure to welcome so many new faces to our community. Our beautiful grounds have bloomed in the summer season thanks to our talented Head Gardener Chris on the back of his Best Landscape Gardener victory at this year’s Housing with Care awards. The lawn of our village green has been laid meaning that our residents have been able to enjoy games of croquet and boules in the sunshine and our flowerbeds are looking especially colourful with the diverse array of thriving plants and flowers.
