Wadswick Green is Expanding

Rangeford Villages’ Wadswick Green, based in the heart of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, has recently announced plans to expand the existing retirement community’s site to include a Village Hall along with an additional phase of brand-new properties, Walnut Lane. Following the approval of planning permission, these greatly anticipated additions will be coming soon to Rangeford’s award-winning Corsham retirement village.

On Friday 21^st July 2023, Wadswick Green’s The Greenhouse restaurant was pleased to welcome village residents and guests, as representatives from Rangeford Villages’ senior management team gathered to unveil the proposed plans for the new Village Hall and Walnut Lane. Drawings and impressions of the new plans were exhibited throughout the restaurant, giving interested parties the exclusive chance to be among the first to view the exciting future expansion of Wadswick Green.

Residents are delighted that plans for the long-awaited Wadswick Green Village Hall are officially approved and underway. This new facility will provide a valuable space for residents to socialise and attend the numerous activity groups run across the village.

Walnut Lane will be the latest phase of state-of-the-art retirement apartments to be built at Wadswick Green. The new development will be comprised of one, two and three-bedroom homes complete with amenities such as private balconies or patios offering stunning views, fully fitted kitchens with integrated NEFF appliances, energy efficient underfloor heating and inbuilt smart tablets ensuring efficiency and security. With just one property currently left to be sold at Wadswick Green we are thrilled to be able to bring the Rangeford lifestyle to many more future residents who will be able to join our vibrant village upon moving into their new Walnut Lane home.

The display event was catered for by The Greenhouse’s Head Chef, Leon and his talented kitchen team who provided a delicious spread of canapés including smoked salmon hors d’oeuvres, prosciutto and mozzarella skewers and restaurant favourites such as our famous chocolate and raspberry brownie. Unsurprisingly, the refreshments went down a treat with all in attendance.

All in attendance came away incredibly impressed by all they had seen and heard about these exciting plans for the improvement of our fantastic flagship village. We look forward to breaking ground soon and to keeping you informed on this next phase of Wadswick Green.
