Round Up August 2020 - Jan 2021

Our last update was in July when we were able to socialise again, albeit from a safe sitance. Communal areas were once again open for residents and there was hope that normality was starting to return.
Since then we have had events including French cheese and wine night, Residents Golf tournament day, September Croquet, a end of Summer BBQ and much more.
With lockdown 2.0 in November, we had to adjust our plans again and in December we went into Tier 2 meaning we could still put on some events for our residents. We celebrated with a saxophonist.

Isolation at Wadswick Green
April 2020
At this time of gloom and fear
We are so glad to be living here.
The Wadswick Staff work hard each day
To make us safe, keep blues at bay.
Drinks and meals from The Greenhouse still, things from 'the shop' our shelves to fill.
A walk in the grounds fills your heart with glee, the daffs are lovely - a joy to see!
A keep-fit session held out on the green - from where I stood not a man to be seen!
Our grateful thanks to all of you
Keep up the good work - we'll all sail through!
